Canna crawl is a culture driven grass roots marketplace event that places an emphasis on diversity, equity and inclusion. This is very important considering that the price of legalization was paid by mostly racialize and marginalized communities. Although diversity in representation is steadily growing in the legal industry there’s still much room for improvement. Canna Crawl is committed to preserving, showcasing and celebrating the spirit and culture of the legacy industry. Canna Crawl now welcomes both legacy and licensed brands, established experienced and new experienced brands to create a vibrant and varied offering for our attendees. Canna crawl is a Black owned event and has been running since July 2018.
MEET THE TEAM
Reena Rampersad
As a former social worker for the city of Detroit, Reena has been advocating for social justice most of her life with much of her work focused on the inequities in the Cannabis industry and society on the whole.
Pairing advocacy and her culinary skills, Reena created High Society Supper Club – a cannabis education and events company. High Society Supper Club is the recipient of Now Magazine’s Readers Choice Award for Best Edibles Maker, and has been featured on various media outlets including the CBC, Zoomer Media’s ONE Network, The Globe and Mail, The New York Times, The Canadian Press, Flare and more.
Reena is one of the founding members of The Campaign for Cannabis Amnesty, a current Board Member of the African Canadian and Caribbean Association of Hamilton and The Organja Society and is a member of the Canadian Women in Cannabis.

Anthony Foster
With over 8 years in the cannabis industry, Anthony, initially a medical cannabis user, emphasizes excellent customer service. He managed a cannabis consumption lounge and actively seeks collaboration with like-minded individuals in the creative field, including artists, creators, and entrepreneurs.
Starting in 2012 as an online store specializing in herbal vaporizers, Hamilton Vape, founded by Anthony Foster, expanded its presence in both medical and non-medical vaporizer markets. Recognizing the crossover between vaporizers and medicinal cannabis, Anthony grew his customer base, leading to the establishment of a physical location on Main Street East in May 2015.
Over time, Hamilton Vape’s focus shifted from retail to offering diverse services nationwide, reflecting its evolution beyond a local vaporizer store.
